CCL 2018: Saturday Seminar Working Together: Building Relationships Across Race and Culture

CCL seeks to create the conditions for climate legislation by building relationships with people from all backgrounds and beliefs. In this session we will consider some essential questions to expand our outreach and alliances: Who aren't we talking to? What gets in the way of talking to them? What gets in the way of listening?

How do we deepen our connections with people and organizations that come from different traditions, cultures or ethnic heritages than our own? Our participants will have the opportunity to explore their experiences building relationships with people from different traditions, cultures or ethnic heritages and to increase their capacity to develop those relationships through practice in small groups.
